Welcome to the new blog!

Welcome back to my website, where I've re-installed for the nth time but this time with a twist.
===
This time around I've downloaded a framework called Grav, which is an open-source flat file content management framework that uses a mixture of HTML, PHP, YAML, and Twig. I'm familiar with the first three, but Twig is a new one that seems interesting.
My initial thoughts about Grav so far are positive.
- It's highly customizable. If you've ever played around with a TypeScript/JavaScript flat-file framework, it'll instantly feel familiar.
- It's super responsive and has a low resource footprint. WordPress wasn't bad here, but the difference is noticable.
- Did I mention that it's open source? I love me some open source.
Hey, Pandie! I'm not using WordPress anymore.
You proud of me, bruv?
It was probably a little over a year ago that my friend Pandie issued me a challenge to create a blog site without using WordPress. At the time he issued the challenge, I was settling in to a new role at work and wanted to dive into some ReactJS development -- and I thought that would make a great project with a proper goal to achieve (my brain needs a target, just ADHD things).
Unfortunately, I'm le time poor and I really cannot muster the energy to write code by the time I've got home after work -- which means that my "Blogfolio" project, while helpful in learning React, never was finished resulting in a lack of content being posted.
Hence, why I've installed an existing framework rather than build it from the ground up. I'm looking at it as a compromise on the original objective, rather than a failure.
Stay tuned for more!
I'll be working on this site with the Grav framework moving forward, and publishing content on the regular (hopefully, don't hold me to it).
I've got some tutorials for OBS Studio that friends want (re)posted, and I might post about other inane shit that nobody cares about like my music choices.
Catch you soon, friends!
